NetSci 2025 Satellite - Networking and Clustering Network Scientists

The satellite Networking and Clustering Network Scientists aims to bring together co-organisers and participants of local chapters (national associations, research groups) of network scientists to share experiences and strategies to create, sustain, and expand collaborations on network science and promote research and education within geographical regions.

Invited speakers and colleagues will share their experiences via short talks and a round table. Topics include: optimal organisation structure, strategies to attract and sustain active members, reaching diverse audiences, sustaining the network, organising scientific, educational, and cultural events, outreach activities, online vs in-person activities, sharing seminar mailing lists for cross-national collaboration, and related topics.

The satellite will take place on 2 or 3 June, 2025, as part of NetSci 2025 in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
